Social Skills

Getting along with people is the glue of daily life. Socialising may come easily for some, but others can find it difficult to make friends, join in play and cope with knock backs. The good news is these are skills that can be learnt through guided practice.  By helping them understand their own thoughts and feelings, as well as personal styles and preferences in creating relationships, Occupational Therapy can help children apply this social understanding to their relationships with others.
