Anxiety and Stress Management Skills

With anxiety being the most prevalent mental health issue for adults (approximately 14% of people experience an anxiety disorder in any one year) having access to evidence based techniques to manage anxiety is essential. A combination of cognitive techniques (thinking skills) and behavioural techniques such as breathing and relaxation skills are an essential first step in the management of stress and anxiety. Knowing how your brain functions and responds to stress can help prevent experiences of anxiety and panic from escalating and interfering with daily life.
